Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.

What we collect

• Account data: your name, email and profile picture from Google Sign-In, and any mobile number or location you add to your profile.
• Lead details (free kundli): the name, email and mobile number you enter in the free Janam Kundli generator, along with a basic summary of the chart you generate (such as lagna, moon sign and current dasha). We store these to send you your kundli, and — only if you have agreed — occasional consultation offers relevant to your chart (see Marketing communications & consent below).
• Birth details: name, gender, date, time and place of birth that you enter to generate a kundli — for yourself or others you add.
• Chat history: your consultation conversations, stored so you can revisit them.
• Payment metadata: order id, payment id and amount from Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or banking credentials — those go directly to Razorpay.

How it is used

• Birth details are used solely to compute your chart and ground the Guru's answers.
• Chart data and your questions are sent to a third-party AI inference provider under contract, only to generate the Guru's replies. They are not used to train that provider's models, and we do not attach your name or contact details to them.
• With your consent, we use the email and mobile number you provide to send offers, promotions, astrology tips and consultation reminders — by email and on WhatsApp. This is optional; see Marketing communications & consent below for exactly what we send and how to turn it off at any time.
• We may review anonymised conversations to improve the Guru's quality.

Marketing communications & consent

Separately from the reading you ask for, we would like to send you offers, promotions, festival and muhurat tips, and consultation reminders — by email and on your mobile number via WhatsApp (and, in future, similar messaging platforms).

This is entirely optional: your free tools and any paid consultation work exactly the same whether or not you receive marketing, and we never make a service conditional on it. WhatsApp messages are sent only to people who have switched WhatsApp onin their profile. For email, you are added when you use our tools and can opt out at any time using the links below. We ask for and rely on your consent under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

You can change your mind at any time — it is as easy to turn off as to turn on:

• Open the Offers & updates section on your Profile page and switch email or WhatsApp off.
• Use the one-click Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
• Or email us via the Contact page and we will remove you.

Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of anything we did before you withdrew. To exercise your rights or raise a concern, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected]. If your concern is not resolved, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal data.
• We never share your details for other companies' marketing.
• We do not share your birth details or conversations with advertisers.

Analytics & advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and — when we are running ads on Facebook or Instagram — the Meta Pixel, so we can tell whether those ads actually bring people who find the site useful.

These tools are told only that a page was viewed and that a step happened: that a free kundli was generated, that someone signed in, or that a session began. They are never sent your birth details, your questions, or anything the guru says to you. Like almost all analytics, they do receive ordinary technical information such as your approximate location, device and browser, and they set cookies to recognise a returning visit.

You can opt out at any time by blocking these cookies in your browser, or through your Meta ad preferences. Nothing on Kundli.me stops working if you do.

YouTube API Services

Kundli.me uses YouTube API Services to publish our own content — such as the daily rashifal video — to our own YouTube channel. By using features that rely on this, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Our handling of any information received through YouTube API Services also follows the Google Privacy Policy.

• We use YouTube API Services only to upload and manage our own videos on our own channel. We do not access, collect, store or share any YouTube data belonging to you or any other viewer.
• You can revoke Kundli.me's access to your Google/YouTube account at any time from the Google security settings page.

Storage & deletion

Data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure. To delete your account and associated data, email us via the Contact page from your registered email; we will complete deletion within 30 days.
