How is this different from a normal muhurat or panchang?
A panchang muhurat is the same for everyone in a city. This one is scored against YOUR birth chart: the tara bala from your birth nakshatra, the chandra bala on that day, the ashtakavarga strength of the sign the Moon transits in your chart, and whether your running dasha lord is friendly to the planet that governs the work you are planning. The panchang is only the last of the three layers.
Which kinds of work does it cover?
Marriage and engagement, griha pravesh, buying property or a vehicle, starting a business, joining a job, beginning study, surgery, travel, loans and investments, naming ceremonies, puja, legal matters, and a general option for anything else. Each one uses its own karaka planet, house, nakshatra classes and weekdays — surgery, for instance, wants a waning Moon while marriage wants a waxing one.
What time of day should I actually start?
Each recommended day shows its Abhijit muhurat (the ~48-minute window around local noon, the most universally auspicious slot) or the best choghadiya window, plus the Rahu kaal you should avoid. Start inside the good window and outside Rahu kaal.
