Kundli.me computes your birth chart from real astronomical positions (sidereal, Vedic) and interprets it with Jyotish Guru — an AI built on an open language model and grounded in classical texts including Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Lal Kitab, with over 3,600 extracted shastra rules. Every answer is grounded in your actual chart.
Step 1 — Your chart is computed, not looked up
When you enter your date, time and place of birth, our calculation service computes planetary longitudes from real astronomical positions — the same astronomical engine used by professional astrology software worldwide. We derive the lagna (ascendant), house placements, nakshatras, and the full Vimshottari dasha timeline. Nothing is approximated from pre-made tables.
Step 2 — The AI reads your chart against classical rules
Jyotish Guru is built on a large open language model, adapted specifically for Vedic astrology. We ground it in a curated corpus of classical works — Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, standard dasha and yoga literature — and the Lal Kitab tradition, from which we extracted and structured more than 3,600 interpretive rules. When you ask a question, the model receives your computed chart data and answers from those frameworks: houses, lords, aspects, dashas and yogas — not generic horoscope text.
Step 3 — A real conversation, in your language
You talk to the Guru the way you would to a human astrologer: follow-up questions, requests for remedies (upay), timing questions about a specific dasha. It replies in the language you use — Hindi, Hinglish or English — and stays grounded in your chart throughout the session.
